Imagine holding your meeting or event in a large airy historic room with a gorgeous view across the roof-tops of Nottingham city centre. This room comes equipped with wi-fi internet access, laptop, LCD projector and at least 4 flipcharts. We can set it out theatre style for up to 120 people, or 60 participants workshop or cabaret style. Your refreshments and lunch will be served in the gallery, so you and your participants can enjoy, and take creative inspiration from whatever show is on. Indeed you might consider holding your meeting while a particular show is on.

Access is excellent for those with mobility difficulties with a lift from the ground floor and disabled (and other) toilet facilities on the same level. Public car parking and tram stops are all within five minutes walk with the railway station just ten minutes walk away.

The room is equipped with:

  • Flipcharts and pens

The room is normally available for hire between 9am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. Sunday hire times are 10.30 - 4pm. Extensions beyond store opening hours (after 7pm) can be arranged up to 9pm at the additional cost of £150.

Catering
Our buffet lunch includes a third vegetarian food as standard, and any special diets can be provided for with notice.  Alternative menus are available at additional charge and we will always try to meet any special requirements or ideas you have.  Please check out our sample buffet menus (pdf format) .

Evening Hire
Arrangements can normally be made to hire the room (and/or gallery) after 7pm and up to 9pm at £150 additional cost.   Lunch can be replaced by a buffet supper or canapés.  Please see above for sample menus.

Room-hire only
If you prefer to arrange your own catering, hire of the room and equipment is £500 per day or part day.  The gallery area can also be hired as an additional area for refreshments or break-out space at £250 per day or part day.  Hire of the gallery area alone, for receptions etc, is £500 day or part day and different charges apply to those hiring the gallery for exhibitions.

The room-hire only option is suitable for those who wish to arrange their own catering and includes use of limited kitchen facilities.  Additional charges are made for any services you’d like us to provide, including events staff, cloakroom facilities or any beverages.
